Acupuncture for Everyone
Eleanor Tetlow (http://www.needletherapy.co.uk) and Lilja Katanka (http://www.lifeisforlivingwell.co.uk) met while studying for their TCM Acupuncture degrees at Westminster University in London. Both graduated with honours in 2008 after 4 years of study, and became accredited members of the British Acupuncture Council, and both have also spent some months observing and studying in Chinese hospitals in China. Lilja and Ellie had become friends and study partners as they both lived in Brixton, and had a shared commitment to providing affordable acupuncture to their local community- which is where this project began. Having worked seaparately for 2 years in private clinics around London, they decided to join forces to make this community clinic in their local area a reality. Both practice privately too doing one-on-one treatments at other locations.
We welcome any final year acupuncture students or new graduates who'd like to come and assist us! We're getting pretty busy, so if you'd like to share knowledge, help with setting up and running the clinic, assist with adjunctive therapies (Moxa/ Tui Na/ Electro) and learn about the realities of clinical practice, then do contact us!
